For several years now I have photography as a hobby. So far I have limited myself to photographing vehicles, buildings and other landmarks. Often also during a trip.
I currently use a Sony Alpha ILCA-77M2 with the following lenses: the Sony SAL1650, the Sony SAL50F18 and the Sony SAL55300. I am also equipped with a Metz 50 AF-1 digital flash,
Oppilas S2 Wireless Remote Control and a Rollei C5 tripod. More about this on my other website Buschhausen.net
In 2018 I started diving and did my Open Water Diver. Shortly thereafter, I also completed the brevet to CMAS/IDA **. The knowledge and skills gained through this have since been applied through numerous dives. Besides dives in the different seas of this world during a vacation, I also like to go diving in local waters. I can be found regularly at the Bosmolenplas in Panheel (NL), for example.
At some point the interest came up to combine photography and diving. Here I gained my first experience snorkeling with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT4 and then got myself an Actionpro X7 for diving,
with which I initially only created videos. Due to increased demands and the focus on photography, it quickly became apparent that the Actionpro X7 was only suitable for video recordings. Since
the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT4 is only waterproof up to 12m and not so convincing in low light conditions, I looked around for a good, but affordable alternative. I found the Sony DSC-RX100 III,
which has since become my camera of choice. I use the camera in Sony's own underwater housing, the Sony MPK-URX100A underwater housing.
